150 stockings on display at the Estonian National Museum
Muhu stockings are among the very best examples of the art of knitting from anywhere around the world. They are characterised by the fineness of their yarn, the incredible density of their weave, the complexity of their patterns and their amazingly bright colours. The Estonian National Museum is hosting the exhibition 'Twilight of Our Everyday Lives' from 8 August 2020 to 31 January 2021.
