During the long preparatory work, out of thousands of images, the best photos and other illustrations are gathered on 496 pages, which covers the most important topics and allows the reader to get a closer look at the world of people taken to Siberia. The author of the texts of the chapters is Prof. Aigi Rahi-Tamm, Lauri Suurmaa, the historical editor of Grenader publishing house, helped to select the images and compile the signatures. The sources are numerous private collections and memory institutions.
The book is in Estonian and English.
